Day 1: Arrival in Uganda, the Pearl of Africa
Upon arriving at Entebbe on a morning or evening flight, you'll receive a warm welcome from your Kizza Adventures guide/driver. From there, you'll be transferred to your accommodation in Kampala—Kampala Serena Hotel (Luxury), Cassia Lodge/Africana Hotel (Mid-range), or Airport Guest House (Budget). Day 2: Journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After a leisurely breakfast at 7:30 a.m., you'll set off at 8:30 a.m. on a scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, taking about 8-9 hours. En route, you'll stop at the Equator for a photo opportunity and at Agip Motel for a delicious lunch, with a chance to savor local fruits. The journey continues with a stop at Bunyaruguru to admire a stunning sunset and the breathtaking savannah landscape. Arrive at the park in the evening for a sunset game drive. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Mweya Safari Lodge/Elephant Plains Lodge (Luxury), Ihamba Lakeside Safari Lodge (Mid-range), or Simba Safari Camp/Bush Lodge (Budget). Day 3: Morning Game Drive & Boat Cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Embark on an early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queens Mile, where you'll have the chance to spot elephants, buffalo, waterbucks, warthogs, lions, Uganda Kobs, and various bird species. After a 4-hour game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast and refreshments. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, offering close encounters with hippos, buffalo, elephants, and numerous bird species. Dinner and overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge/Elephant Plains Lodge (Luxury), Ihamba Lakeside Safari Lodge (Mid-range), or Simba Safari Camp/Bush Lodge (Budget). Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After a relaxed morning and breakfast at 8 a.m., you'll check out of the lodge at 9 a.m. and head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the renowned mountain gorillas. The drive takes 3-4.5 hours, offering views of local culture, lush vegetation, and magnificent mountains. Upon arrival, you'll check into your lodge for a 2-night stay and have lunch. In the afternoon, you'll visit the Batwa community to experience their rich culture, traditional dances, and history. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Mahogany Springs Lodge/Buhoma Lodge (Luxury), Silverback Lodge/The Haven Lodge Buhoma (Mid-range), or Ride 4 a Woman/Buhoma Community Lodge (Budget). Day 5: Gorilla Trekking & Batwa Cultural Experience at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park 2024,2025, 2026
After breakfast at 8 a.m., prepare for a 3-4 hour trek to encounter the magnificent mountain gorillas. The trek through Bwindi's dense forest, guided by experienced rangers, is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. You'll be divided into groups to track different gorilla families and spend an hour observing these gentle giants. Afterward, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Mahogany Springs Lodge/Buhoma Lodge (Luxury), Silverback Lodge (Mid-range), or Ride 4 a Woman/Buhoma Community Camp (Budget). Day 6: Return to Kampala and Entebbe
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before beginning your journey back to Kampala, with a stop for lunch along the way. You'll also visit the Equator for souvenir shopping. The tour concludes with a drop-off at Entebbe Airport for your evening flight home. Meal Plan: Breakfast & Lunch
