Day 1: Arrival in Uganda - The Pearl of Africa
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative from Kizza Adventures or your dedicated tour guide/driver for the next 10 days. You’ll then be transported to your accommodation in Kampala, where you’ll have dinner and spend the night at one of the following options: Kampala Serena Hotel (luxury), Cassia Safari Lodge/Hotel Africana (mid-range), or Airport Guest House/Emmaus Guest House (budget)

Day 2: Journey to Jinja with Zip-lining and a Boat Cruise
After an early breakfast, your day begins at 7 AM with a drive to Jinja, making a stop at Griffin Falls in Mabira Forest for an exhilarating zip-lining adventure and a nature walk to the falls. Following these activities, you'll continue to Jinja for lunch at the Jinja Sailing Club at around 12:45 PM. At 2 PM, embark on a boat cruise to the source of the Nile, visiting both the eastern and western ends and the John Speke Monument. Take some time to shop for African crafts before heading back to Kampala for dinner and an overnight stay at your chosen accommodation.

Day 3 : Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park with Rhino Trekking at Ziwa Sanctuary
Rise early for breakfast at 7:00 AM, and depart at 7:30 AM for a 5-6 hour journey to Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a thrilling rhino trekking experience to observe Uganda's remaining white rhinos. Enjoy lunch at the sanctuary before continuing to Murchison Falls, where you’ll visit the top of the falls. Afterward, proceed to your overnight accommodation at Paraa Safari Lodge (luxury), Murchison River Lodge/Pakuba Safari Lodge/Twiga Safari Lodge (mid-range), or Fort Murchison Lodge/Gipiri & Labongo Safari Lodge (budget).

Day 4 : Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise at Murchison Falls National Park
Start your day early with breakfast at 5:30 AM before embarking on a morning game drive at 6 AM. This drive offers the chance to see a variety of wildlife, including the Big Five—lions, buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, and leopards—along with warthogs, waterbucks, and more. After the game drive, return to your lodge for a midday rest and lunch. At 12:30 PM, prepare for a 2 PM boat cruise along the Nile, which will take you to the base of Murchison Falls. Look out for hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species along the riverbanks. Afterward, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5:Transfer to Kibale National Park
After a relaxed morning and breakfast at 7:30 AM, head to the top of the falls for a breathtaking view of the Nile’s powerful descent. Then, begin your 5-6 hour journey to Kibale National Park, stopping for an en-route lunch. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation at Kyaninga Safari Lodge/Primate Safari Lodge (luxury), Turaco Treetops Safari Lodge (mid-range), or Kibale Forest Camp/Ruwenzori View Guest House (budget)

Day 6:Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Nature Walk at Kibale National Park
After breakfast, you’ll head to the park headquarters at 9 AM for a briefing on chimpanzee trekking. Your search for the habituated chimpanzees will take 2-4 hours, during which you may also spot other primates like vervet monkeys, olive baboons, and black-and-white colobus monkeys. After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch. Later, enjoy a guided nature walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, home to over 138 bird species and various primates. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and Boat Cruise on the Kazinga Channel
Start your day with breakfast at 9 AM, then depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park at 10 AM. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at your lodge before heading out for a 2 PM boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This cruise offers the opportunity to see hippos, elephants, buffaloes, and numerous bird species. After the cruise, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge/Elephant Plains Lodge (luxury), Ihamba Safari Lodge (mid-range), or Simba Safari Lodge/Bush Lodge (budget).

Day 8 : Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Embark on an early morning game drive at 6 AM along the Kasenyi Plains and Queens Mile, where you can spot elephants, buffaloes, lions, and more. After the drive, return to your lodge for refreshments before starting your 5-6 hour drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Travel through the Ishasha sector, where you might see tree-climbing lions. Arrive at Bwindi’s Buhoma side for dinner and an overnight stay at Mahogany Springs Lodge/Buhoma Lodge (luxury), Silverback Lodge/The Haven Lodge (mid-range), or Ride 4 a Woman/Buhoma Community Camp (budget).

Day 9 : Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Cultural Experience at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Today is dedicated to the unforgettable experience of gorilla trekking. The trek begins at 8 AM with a briefing from Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. Wear appropriate gear and bring essentials like water, snacks, sunscreen, and insect repellent. The trek can take 2-5 hours, offering a rare opportunity to observe mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. After the trek, if time permits, you’ll visit the local Batwa community to learn about their traditional way of life. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10 : Return to Entebbe Airport
On your final day, enjoy a relaxed breakfast before checking out of your lodge at 9 AM. You’ll embark on a 9-10 hour drive back to Kampala, stopping for lunch in Mbarara and a photo opportunity at the equator. Upon arrival in Kampala, you’ll be dropped off at your accommodation or the airport, depending on your onward travel plans.
