  • Arrive at the Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will be met at the airport by Kizza Adventures driver and tour guide. There after you will meet with our guide who will explain everything you need to know before your Kilimanjaro tour. He will also inspect your equipment to make sure you have all the requirements to make your tour super one and will help you rent the ones you miss. Then you will be transferred to the hotel in Moshi for overnight. Arrive at the Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will be picked by Kizza Adventures' driver who will transfer you to the already prepared hotel in Moshi/Arusha for overnight.

  • You will be picked from your hotel at around 08:00am and be transferred to the Lemosho gate located on the western side of Mount Kilimanjaro. After the registration process the climbing towards the first camp (BIG TREE CAMP/MTI MKUBWA CAMP) begins passing through the beautiful forests of the Lemosho glades. Dinner and Overnight at Big Tree Camp.

  • After the breakfast we will continue ascending and we will come across plateau of grassy moorland and heather scattered with volcanic rock formations. We will have a steep climb which passes through SHIRA 1 CAMP. At this point you can view Kibo peak far away in the cloud. dinner and overnight at SHIRA 1 CAMP.

  • On this day we will continue climbing with far-reaching panoramic views, walking trough the climatic zone of the upland desert and on the lava ridges beneath the glaciers of the Western Breach. On this day we will get the chance to view the Northern ice fields from the western side of the Mount Kilimanjaro with some unusual views of Kibo peak. Our steady climb across the moorland of the Shira Plateau will help with acclimatization and we will enjoy great panoramic views. Then we will reach at the Shira II Camp. In the afternoon we will take an acclimatization walk then head back to camp for dinner and overnight.

  • On this day we will continue climbing starting with an ascent with far-reaching panoramic views, walking in to the climatic zone of the upland desert and on the lava ridges beneath the glaciers of the Western Breach. We will reach the distinct pinnacle of the Lava Tower, the highest point for the day and a nice place to enjoy our delicious lunch. In the afternoon we will make a steep descent to our camp for the night, located in the base of the Great Barranco Valley, sheltered by towering cliffs but with extensive views of the plains. .

  • We will start this wonderfully day by descending into the start of the Great Barranco. As we exit the wall, it divides us from the southeastern slopes of Kibo. This is the climb over the rocky hence is so tiresome although no any technical skills required. On our way we will pass underneath the HEIM AND KERSTERN glaciers, and finally arrives at KARANGA VALLEY. We will have a steep climb towards the KARANGA CAMP (3963m). Although an acclimatization can still take place for the people who are strong up (4200m). There after we will descend back to our camp for delicious dinner and overnight

  • After the breakfast we will start a trek to Barafu camp which is 4640m high. This is the steep and difficult walk passing through the scree slopes with no vegetation around us at all. The day is very short as we will arrive at the camp at afternoon where we will have lunch. On arriving at camp we will eat and spend the afternoon resting. Thereafter we will have a delicious dinner and sleep for some hours. Between 11pm and 12pm we will start climbing to the summit. It is important to keep ourselves hydrated and warm.

  • We will reach Uhuru Peak in the early afternoon, when few groups are around, then we will have a short descent to Crater Camp, set in soft sands near the famed Furtwangler Glacier. Crater camp is not a route in its own but just an extension which can be added to any route. It involves sleeping overnight in the bowl of the crater. Not every climbers can reach here but only a few of the most adventurous climbers.

  • After a well deserved breakfast we will start descending passing through the STELLA Point and Barafu Camp and finally arrives at Millenium Camp for a long well-earned rest.

  • Today we will descend through the rain forest to Mweka Gate, where we will complete park formalities and receive certificates, which you can hang up with pride! Kizza Adventures' vehicles will come to pick us where we will be returned to Moshi. Then you will say bye to your crew and be transferred to your already prepared hotel.
