This three days wildlife safari expedition to Arusha National Park, Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater offers a multitude of memorable experiences in a short amount of time. The wildlife Safari game drives allow you to visit and explore Africa’s wildlife habitats which host many species of animals and vegetation. Tarangire National Park is known for the plains of savannah and their immense elephant herds while for Ngorongoro Crater is famous big five and marvel at the colossal landscape of the crater and the notably different colored Momella Lakes, and the 3km wide Ngurdoto Crater at Arusha National Park.
After breakfast, we'll depart from your Arusha or Moshi accommodations and drive to the Arusha National park. After entering the park we will embark on a wildlife game drive through the park. Our game drive will pass us past park landmarks such as the Momella Lakes and Ngurdoto Crater - sometimes known as 'Little Ngorongoro'. Also, your Safari Vehicle will go under the Fig tree (Ficus thonningii) whose roots have grown to take the shape of an arch, large enough for a Safari car (elephant size) to pass underneath. The car will stop so that you may have an opportunity to get out of the car and take pictures. We will stop at a picnic site where you will have our delicious lunch there after proceed with the game drive. At around four we will start leaving the Arusha National park for Arusha where we will spend the night at the hotel since it is included
We will depart for Tarangire National Park early in the morning. Once we arrive in Tarangire we will begin exploring the enormous termite mounds and the ancient baobab trees. This park is renowned for its diverse bird species and extensive population of elephants. There are regular sightings of wildlife such as ferocious lions, giraffe, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetah, mongoose, buffaloes, and mischievous baboons. After viewing the wildlife in Tarangire we will continue our journey to our next highlight to Lake Manyara. We'll then retire to the rim of the lake for dinner and a good night's rest at the hotel/camp
We will have an early start today so that we complete the itinerary for the day which includes a magnificent game drive with a picnic lunch in the crater. We will see Animals infrequently migrating in and out of the crater due to its elevated walls. This gives us the opportunity of spotting every member of the big 5 animals in one day. The big 5 african animals comprises of buffalo, elephants, rhinos, lions and leopards. Some of the other wildlife that we can expect to see includes zebras, hippo, wildebeest and hyenas. The craters also feature an extensive bird population including geese, storks and vultures. We will also see lovely flamingos on the Soda Lake. Our guides are highly skilled and have ability to track down animals. Our trip will come to an end in the late afternoon and we will proceed to Arusha, This marks the end of our enjoyable 3 Days safari to Arusha, Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater.
